This poem was actually inspired by Carlos Mencia's show, Mind Of Mencia
during a skit of fairy tales he did...

"I'm No Prince, But I Can Still Invite You To Some Balls" By Alexander The Poet 08.29.06

Milady, I may be no Prince Charming,
Or the tall dark handsome man, that your heart calls
And a long sword I may not be arming,
But girl, I can still invite you to some balls!

The balls I speak of, need no formal dress,
And there is no need to even wear a mask
However though, there could be quite a mess,
So if you want one my princess, please just ask!

There will be Mozart and Beethoven playing,
And there will be food, just like at every ball
I truly hope you decide on staying,
Even if the 'dance floor' appears a bit small!

As the evening ends, I hope to kiss you,
But I do prefer, that you wash your mouth first
I'm glad you came, but you see, I did too,
And this part of the ball, I never rehearsed!
