I just felt like writing this poem because I felt Christina Aguilera has been
wrongfully misjudged by people. I think it explains itself clearly. It would
be cool if Christina herself would read it because it sends a message which is,
entertainers, performers, artists, etc work in "showbiz". We create characters that
we probably would not be able to portray in the real world. What you see on tv and film
is all illusion for the most part. And entertainers shouldn't be expected to
be good role models for children. That's the parents' job. Yeah, so Christina dresses
rather provocative. So what? She's in "showbiz".
"Christina Aguilera" By Alexander The Poet
Everyone thinks you're a whore,
And I used to think so too,
But I don't think that no more,
Because now, I "get" you
People just love to gossip,
And to always, judge people
And you, they just love to rip,
Because their minds, are simple
Yeah, you may dress real sexy,
But the thing that people miss
That this ain't reality,
This is all, fucking showbiz
So do your thing Christina,
Nobody can hold you down
And from what I have seen-a,
Forever, you'll be around
THE END
