When the power goes out,
And electricity, you have none
You start to scream and shout,
Oh damn, what the fuck is going on???

The traffic lights don't work,
All the subways and buses are stuck
You feel like such a jerk,
Needless to say, you are really fucked!

The politicians preach,
And promise power will be restored
But we don't want a speech,
We want to know who pulled the cord!

A blackout really sucks,
Because quite simply, you can't see squat
It may cost a few bucks,
But give me light, let it be one watt!
