Inspired By President George Bush's message during the first debate with
Senator John Kerry, that we can't forget Poland...
"We Can't Forget Poland" By Alexander The Poet 10.04.04

We can't forget Poland,
President George Bush had said
So now with his command,
Some vital facts I shall shed
Poland is a nation,
Born in the 10th century
And with it's creation,
There became a strong gentry
But with that strong gentry,
The nation became so weak
It was a travesty,
And everything seemed so bleak
Then with a few countries,
Poland became a great friend
They signed some good treaties,
Poland's problems seemed to end
As 1918 drew,
Poland gained independence
But then in World War 2,
Things again became so tense
Germany and Russia,
Made Poland their special bitch
There was so much drama,
And it just made Poland twitch
When the war had ended,
It became a Russian state
But things were not splendid,
More problems it did create
Then in 1990,
It's economy was strong
Then a low GDP,
Well that made it last not long
Today, even although,
Poland's not on the right track
It's important we know,
They helped us invade Iraq!
Knowledge is a great tool,
So now we must understand
That George Bush is no fool,
And we can't forget Poland!
