A poem inspired by true events of NJ Governor James McGreevy
announcing he was gay and that he would resign as governor.

NOTE: I hope this poem doesn't come across as bashing gays, but moreso
captures the fascination the media has with homosexuality.




"The Governor Comes Out" By Alexander The Poet 08.13.04

Governor James McGreevy,
Oh my just what have you done?
With some male Israeli,
You were getting your freak on!

When you said that you were gay,
The whole nation was in shock
And now this won't go away,
CNN knows you suck cock!

The main reason you 'came out',
Was to avoid a lawsuit
Which was damaging no doubt,
So therefore you went this route

Golan Cipel alleges,
That you harrassed him for sex
You got yourself in this mess,
You were signing his paychecks!

Because of this huge scandal,
Which is by far so malign
It was too much to handle,
That's why you chose to resign
