I wrote this poem because it seems, these days, a lot of women, not all, seem to value, a man's money the most in a relationship, and usually base their decision to marry, on money, and not on love...
"Love And Romance Is Dead, Materialism Lives" by Alexander The Poet
If I felt the urge to date,
A girl I liked to know,
I would find out tad too late,
She's all about the dough
See, I don't pursue money,
For I pursue, romance
But with that, girls don't seek me,
Ironic circumstance?
For they claim girls seek passion,
And all girls seek true love
So why such strong attraction,
To a man that's well off?
Do all girls marry for love?,
In these times, I think not
If wallet's not thick enough,
Then men don't stand a shot!
